In a move-in/move-out residential cleaning service, the following areas are typically addressed:

 

All furniture should be removed from the home.

Kitchen:

• Cleaning and sanitizing countertops, cabinets, and drawers

• Wiping down appliances (exterior only), including refrigerator (exterior only) , stovetop, microwave, and dishwasher

• Oven (Interior) clean - quoted separately based on condition

• Refrigerator (interior) - quoted separately based on condition

• Cleaning sinks and faucets

• Removing cobwebs

• Sweeping and mopping floors

 

Bathrooms:

• Scrubbing and disinfecting toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs

• Cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces

• Wiping down countertops and cabinets

• Cleaning tiles and grout (spot cleaning)

• Removing soap scum and mildew

• Emptying and cleaning trash bins

• Sweeping and mopping floors

 

Living Areas:

• Dusting and wiping down all surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and baseboards

• Vacuuming carpets and rugs

• Sweeping and mopping hard floors

• Clean interior window sills

• Removing cobwebs

• Spot cleaning walls and light switches

• Blinds will be dusted - if deep cleaning is required it is an add-on

 

Bedrooms:

• Dusting and wiping down all surfaces

• Vacuuming carpets and rugs

• Sweeping and mopping hard floors

• Cleaning interior window sills

• Blinds will be dusted - if deep cleaning required it is an add-on

• Removing cobwebs

• Spot cleaning walls and light switches

 

Hallways and Entryways:

• Dusting and wiping down surfaces, including handrails and light fixtures

• Vacuuming carpets and rugs

• Sweeping and mopping hard floors

• Cleaning interior window sills

• Removing cobwebs

 

Additional Areas (if applicable):

• Laundry rooms: wiping down surfaces, cleaning appliances, and floors

• Basement: if unfurnished, sweep floors, dust for cobwebs, clean interior window frames

• Garages: sweeping

• Exterior areas: sweeping porches, patios, or balconies

What is not included:

• Appliance interior clean (oven, refrigerator) - subject to inspection prior to quoting

• Carpet Cleaning - available service - quoted as an add-on

• Screens on windows - add-on service available (clean in place, vacuum and wipe)

• Furniture Cleaning - house should be empty, however, if furniture remains - we do not clean the furniture

• Disposal of rugs or any other furnishings

• Interior windows - cleaning available as an add-on

• Duct Cleaning - not included

 

Overall, the goal is to provide a comprehensive cleaning service that leaves the property in pristine condition for new occupants or for the previous occupants to receive their security deposit back.
